Three updates. Sharper data, bigger studies, cleaner workflows.
The latest Fuel Cycle release brings stronger quota controls, expanded qual capabilities, and more reliable campaign reporting.
Clearer Quota Controls
Expanded FC Qual Capabilities
Run larger studies with up to 100 sessions, protect participant privacy with updated name display, and share evidence more easily with highlight reels across all workspaces.
Cleaner Reporting & Campaigns
Stronger Sample Control with Updated Quota Types
Quotas in FC Surveys now use three clear types: Overall Quota, Profile/Group Quota, and In-Survey Quota. Legacy “Simple” and “Advanced” labels have been retired and mapped into this new structure.
- Overall Quota — Cap total completes when you need a fixed number of responses. Set the target and launch.
- Profile/Group Quota — Control distribution across existing groups or profile attributes to maintain balanced representation.
- In-Survey Quota — Limit responses based on how participants answer specific survey questions, enabling dynamic sample control.
By separating overall limits from audience- and question-based controls, you reduce misconfiguration risk and gain tighter control over complex studies.
Expanded Power and Privacy in FC Qual
This month’s FC Qual enhancements support larger studies, cleaner vendor reconciliation, and stronger compliance.
- Third-Party Panel URL Tracking — Capture end-to-end tracking data for supported vendors, improving reporting accuracy and simplifying reconciliation.
- Unmoderated Session Increase — Conduct up to 100 sessions per study, reducing workarounds and simplifying large onboarding waves.
- Highlight Reels in All Workspaces (Beta) — Duplicate, edit, and manage reels across workspaces to turn long recordings into concise, shareable evidence.
- Enhanced Privacy Controls — Participant names now display as First Name and Last Initial, reducing exposure to personally identifiable information.
- Consistent Recording Controls — All session roles now see the same recording interface, reducing confusion and missed recordings.
Cleaner Campaigns and More Reliable Reporting
New safeguards and reporting improvements reduce risk and improve interpretability.
- Email Campaign Activity Picker — Only Scheduled or Published activities appear, preventing sends tied to drafts or inactive experiences.
- Emoji Blocking in Critical Email Fields — Emojis are blocked in campaign names, subject lines, and preheaders to protect deliverability.
- Quantitative Reports: Response Status Filter — Filter by Completed, Partial, or Terminated responses for clearer field performance insight.
- Crosstabs Search Counts — See match counts in the side pane without expanding every section.
- Improved Chart Refresh Behavior — Charts now reload correctly when questions are reordered or hidden, preserving accuracy in stakeholder reporting.
