Teams choose the level of support that fits their capacity — from full end-to-end research management to selective task support — purchased as credits against a reserved balance. Services cover qual and quant research design, programming, fieldwork, data processing, and reporting.
How does the credit-based research model work?
Research services are purchased as credits held in a reserve balance. Each task — survey design, programming, moderation, reporting — costs a set number of credits. Before each project begins, Fuel Cycle provides a credit scope so teams know the cost upfront. You can request support for specific tasks only, or for the full research pipeline.
What is the difference between Full Service, Hybrid, and DIY?
Full Service means Fuel Cycle's expert research pod manages everything — from study design through final deliverable. Hybrid means you run the platform day-to-day and draw on the expert team for specific tasks when needed. DIY means you use the Fuel Cycle platform independently, with technical support available throughout.

Fuel Cycle produces six types of research deliverable: Full Insights Reports (executive summary plus question-level slides), Topline Reports (key findings summary), Highlight Reels (1–3 minute edited video), Crosstabs (banner point tables), Infographics (stat-driven visual summaries), and Data Files (raw export in Excel, CSV, or .sav format).
